About Workplace Training

From our custom needs assessment including curriculum and instructional design to our in-depth training, evaluation and reporting, the IWE’s training approach is both cohesive and comprehensive. The IWE's model is anchored by the following seven (7) principles:

Access to Training Grants
Through its partnership with the U.S. Department of Labor, the City of Chicago, and the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, the IWE assists employers in the qualification, identification and management of grant funds to subsidize the cost of services.

Experienced Trainers
The IWE delivers professional development training through highly skilled, certified trainers with real world experience in their areas of expertise.

Proven Training Model
Our Experimental Learning Approach (ELA) is a learner-focused system that encourages active participation through hands-on involvement with meaningful and relevant professional development skills practice.

Effective Training Materials
The IWE uses personal development curricula and training materials designed with the Experimental Learning Approach in mind. Training participants keep the comprehensive collateral to utilize as post-training reference and resource tools.

Multilingual
The IWE offers all professional development services in both English and Spanish. Other languages are available at client request.

On or Offsite Facilities
All of our services are offered onsite at your facilities. We can also provide facilities throughout the City and the metropolitan region for larger training sessions.

Bottom-up Approach
The IWE delivers training not just to executives, but across all organizational levels. Customized training ensures that all employees receive a relevant and effective experience designed specifically for them.
